Dodge RAM 1500

The 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 is available in three model trims: ST, SLT, and SRT-10. The ST and SLT are available in Regular Cab or Quad Cab, in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The SRT-10 is only available in 2WD configuration. The optional 5.7L Hemi Magnum engine employs design innovations such as hemispherical combustion chambers and twin spark plugs per-cylinder that make it more powerful, over fifty pounds lighter, and ten percent more efficient than the outgoing unit. The SRT-10G's are equipped with an 8.3L V10 Viper engine paired to a manual six-speed transmission. The Ram 1500 is available with a variety of upgrade packages combining popular options. These include an off-road equipment group, a sport appearance group, and a trailer tow package.
